Fund Your Mission from Your Portfolio, Not Your Budget

Online Webinar:  November 10th | 2 PM EST

Every credit union gives back, whether through a share of net income, a golf outing, or a dollar a month from member accounts. What if your credit union could invest in its community instead?

NCUA Rule 721.3, and similar rules for state-chartered credit unions, permit exactly that: a charitable giving program where at least 51% of total return supports local causes, including your own foundation, and your credit union keeps the rest.

Why do so few use it? Because each traditional option falls short. Insurance can lock up capital for years. Bonds have delivered poor total returns. Equities can deliver growth, but under ASC 321, every market swing hits your net income.

The Elite Community Impact Program is different - designed to provide meaningful returns to your community and credit union through equity market participation, but without the open-ended downside - plus reduced earnings volatility and daily liquidity. The result: a giving program your board can support, and a story your members, media, and community will remember.

Key Takeaways:
  • Why total return, not income, determines the level of giving
  • Could your portfolio be funding your own foundation right now?
  • How to turn prudent investing into your most powerful community story
