No One Tells Your Story Better Than Members

A Webinar on Member Stories:  October 15th | 2 PM EST

No One Tells The Credit Union Difference Better Than The People Living It

Rates and fees are easy to compare. The feeling and impact of being a credit union member? That’s much harder to put into words.

In 2025, Community First Credit Union asked members a simple question: why does this credit union matter to you? A short website form brought in enough responses to help shape a video series built around the theme of its 51st annual meeting. The stories haven't stopped since. A contest tied to this year's “I Love My Credit Union Day” drew more than 1,000 new submissions.

In this webinar, Cathie Tierney, CEO and Amanda Secor, chief of staff at Community First Credit Union will walk through how a simple habit of collecting member stories turned into one of the credit union's most consistent marketing selling tools, and why members keep sharing their stories even when there's little more than pride on the line.

Hear From our Speakers

“Member testimonials are how we tell our story in the marketplace. Working with our agency and marketing team, we’ll curate stories and dig deeper when needed. It’s a beautiful thing, they aren’t sharing quickly to enter a drawing, they are giving us paragraphs of detail about the positive impact the credit union has had on their lives.”

- Amanda Secor, Chief of Staff, Community First Credit Union
