For over 20 years, JR has worked as a strategic partner alongside credit unions to support the creation and delivery of business and technology solutions that create engaging, efficient, and effective member and staff experience.

Over the past decade, as President and CEO of ASAPP Financial Technology, JR has led the expansion of the ASAPP OXP® | Omnichannel Experience Platform into a full suite of Origination and Engagement Feature Sets, and the growth of the ASAPP OXP® Client-Partner community to over 50 Canadian credit unions.

In October 2025, Version 1.0 of the bank.io OXP® | Omnichannel Experience Platform, integrated with Jack Henry Symitar, Corelation Keystone, and Fiserv DNA core banking systems was made available for US Client-Partner credit union implementations.

JR’s experience includes planning and delivering marketing, product, and technology strategies as well as understanding enterprise risk management best practices. In addition to leading ASAPP and supporting the Product and Sales teams, JR focuses on supporting credit union Client-Partners through the development and execution of digital transformation ideation and program development.


Steve Sauve

For over 13 years, Steve has been instrumental in gaining a deep understanding of the need of credit unions and helping to build technology that allows them to compete against direct-to-consumer fintech solutions.

As Chief Product Officer, Steve leads the Platform Development and Implementation team at ASAPP Financial Technology, focusing on planning, design, development and implementation of new feature sets and functionality delivered as part of the product roadmap.

Steve holds an Honours degree from the University of Waterloo and has worked with the ASAPP Financial Technology team since Day 1 of ideation for the Platform. Steve began his work in the financial services sector as a business analyst working on multiple custom software development projects including FI website design projects, custom account origination systems, and multiple core banking system integrations.

Steve has gained considerable experience and expertise working with multiple credit union Client-Partners in process review, optimization, and digitization – helping credit unions achieve more efficient and standardized origination and engagement workflows. Steve continues to work on strategic product planning, coordinating with our strategic partners, and working closely with our Client-Partners to ensure the feature sets being delivered add significant ROI and excellent user experience for both Client-Partner staff and their credit union members.
