Mike Beall, Esq., CUDE, serves as Chief Experience Officer at CU Strategic Planning, a Callahan company. A global credit union leader and advocate, Mike played a key role in securing a $12 billion CDFI carve-out in the CARES Act. His leadership includes tenures as President/CEO of the NCBA CLUSA, Maryland/DC Credit Union League, and Missouri Credit Union Association. At the World Council of Credit Unions, he fostered U.S. credit union partnerships worldwide. John McKechnie

John McKechnie is a renowned legislative and regulatory advocate with over three decades of experience in Washington, DC. A former Chief Federal Lobbyist for CUNA, McKechnie led advocacy efforts instrumental in passing the landmark 1998 credit union membership legislation and bankruptcy abuse prevention laws. Appointed to the National Credit Union Administration in 2006, he managed public and congressional affairs during a pivotal economic period, shaping policy for credit union stabilization and regulatory frameworks. Today, McKechnie continues to specialize in federal advocacy, representing credit unions and financial service providers with unparalleled expertise and a history of impactful leadership.
