When faced with personal circumstances that necessitated a career change, Anjoli Walker sought out a company that would allow her to utilize her personal strengths she learned from years of training in clinical psychology. She discovered BCU, a credit union that recognized the potential in her unique background and expertise.

 Join us as we delve into Anjoli's – and by extension BCU’s – journey, spanning from her role as a Learning and Coaching Representative in 2015 to her current position as Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in 2023. Some notable milestones along the way include:

  • Recognizing the opportunity to expand the impact of her mentoring work with women, Anjoli spearheaded the establishment of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). 
  • A group of cross-functional employees dedicated to celebrating and evaluating culture in BCU, formed the Inclusion Network. 
  • BCU's commitment to DEI resulted in the integration of Inclusion as a core value within the organization along with a formal DEI strategy.
