Callahan's Virtual Roundtable:
Fighting Fraud
Tuesday, September 1st | 2:00 PM ET
Designed for leaders responsible for setting and executing their credit union’s fraud prevention strategy, this virtual roundtable brings together a capped group of peers for open, experience-driven discussion.

Participants gain dedicated time to step away from the day-to-day to explore how fraud is evolving across the organization and how fellow leaders are responding. You’ll leave with practical perspectives on what is working, where pressure points are emerging, and how teams are adapting governance, tools, and processes in real time.

What's On the Agenda?

The agenda is driven by participants to ensure the conversation stays grounded in what fraud leaders are dealing with today. Topics participants have raised include:

  • How fraud is showing up today: What patterns are emerging across the organization, and what feels different than in prior years?
  • Balancing controls and member experience: Where are teams intentionally adding friction, and where are they working to remove it?
  • Effectiveness of current tools and processes: What is working well today, and where are limitations becoming more visible?
  • Incident response and escalation: How are fraud events managed in practice, from escalation and decision ownership to cross-team communication?
  • Oversight, accountability, and risk posture: How are leaders approaching documentation, examiner expectations, and long-term fraud governance?

If there is a specific challenge, question, or situation you would like to bring to the group, you are encouraged to share it in advance so it can be incorporated into the discussion.

Who Should Attend?

This roundtable is intended for credit union executives responsible for fraud strategy, risk management, and loss prevention. Titles may include chief risk officer, chief information security officer, vice president or director of fraud, or senior leaders overseeing risk, operations, or compliance.

While we are focused on executive-level participation, we recognize that fraud responsibilities are structured differently across organizations. If you are unsure whether this roundtable is the right fit, or who from your credit union should attend, please reach out. We’re happy to help identify the most appropriate participant.

To keep the discussion focused and productive, participation is limited to no more than two attendees per credit union.
