Callahan's Virtual Roundtable:
Empowering Purpose Virtual Roundtable
Thursday, August 13th | 2:00 PM ET
Every strong credit union starts with purpose.

Purpose provides clarity in moments of complexity and serves as a guide for decisions, priorities, and leadership behavior. Sustaining purpose, however, requires intention. And sometimes that means leaning on those who get it the most, your peers.
Designed for leaders responsible for shaping and sustaining purpose across the credit union, this virtual roundtable brings together a capped group of leaders for open, experience driven discussion. Participants step away from the day to day to share real examples of purpose in action and explore how leaders are activating purpose across their organizations. You’ll walk away with relevant ideas and perspectives to bring back to your organization immediately.

What's On the Agenda?

The agenda is shaped by participants to ensure the conversation stays grounded in what leaders are facing today. Topics participants have raised include:
  • Purpose as a strategic filter: How are leaders using purpose to guide priorities, investments, and trade‑offs in an environment of tighter margins and competing demands?
  • Connecting purpose to performance: How are credit unions translating purpose into measurable outcomes without diluting its meaning?
  • Purpose and culture in practice: How are leaders reinforcing purpose through leadership behaviors, talent decisions, and day‑to‑day expectations?
  • Engaging employees around purpose: How are organizations making purpose tangible for staff amid workforce change and evolving employee expectations?
  • Member impact and community relevance: How are credit unions ensuring purpose continues to resonate with members and communities as needs and demographics shift?
If there is a specific financial challenge, question, or scenario you would like to bring to the group, you are encouraged to share it in advance so it can be incorporated into the discussion.

Who Should Attend?

This roundtable is intended for credit union executives who lead purpose, influence strategy, and advance culture. Titles may include CEO, chief people officer, chief strategy officer, chief marketing officer, or senior leaders responsible for purpose, culture, or enterprise initiatives.
We recognize that ownership of purpose looks different across organizations. If you are unsure whether this roundtable is the right fit, or which leader from your credit union should attend, please reach out. We are happy to help identify the most appropriate participant.
To keep the conversation focused and productive, participation is limited to no more than one attendee per credit union.
