Callahan's Virtual Roundtable:
Risk
Thursday, June 4 | 2:00 PM ET
Designed for leaders responsible for shaping the credit union’s risk strategy, this virtual roundtable brings together a capped group of peers for open, experience‑driven discussion.

Participants gain dedicated time to step away from the day‑to‑day to explore what’s working today and how fellow leaders are adapting their strategies to address shared challenges. You’ll walk away with relevant ideas and perspectives to bring back to your organization immediately.

What's On the Agenda?

The agenda is driven by participants to ensure the conversation stays grounded in what risk leaders are dealing with today. Topics participants have raised include:

  • Vendor due diligence: How are risk leaders evaluating which add value and addressing relationships that no longer serve the organization?
  • AI use cases across the organization: How teams are using AI internally for efficiency and knowledge sharing, and how external AI-enabled vendors are being evaluated for member-facing applications?
  • Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools in practice: What tools are others using to support governance, risk, and compliance, and how teams are stitching together multiple solutions to meet their needs?
  • Risk culture and accountability: How are risk leaders fostering awareness and empowering ownership across departments?
  • Credit risk aligned with mission: How are credit unions managing credit risk while continuing to serve members with lower incomes and lower credit scores?

If there is a specific risk challenge, question, or situation you would like to bring to the group, you are encouraged to share it in advance so it can be incorporated into the discussion.

Who Should Attend?

This roundtable is intended for credit union executives responsible for risk oversight and strategy. Titles may include chief risk officer, chief compliance officer, chief audit executive, or senior leaders overseeing enterprise, operational, or regulatory risk.

While we are focused on executive-level participation, we recognize that risk functions are structured differently across organizations. If you are unsure whether this roundtable is the right fit, or who from your credit union should attend, please reach out. We’re happy to help identify the most appropriate participant.

To keep the discussion focused and productive, participation is limited to no more than two attendees per credit union.
