Technology leaders at credit unions face ongoing pressure to modernize in ways that support the business while still managing risk and meet rising expectations with finite resources.
This virtual roundtable is designed as a moment-in-time conversation for credit union technology executives to step back and compare how peers are approaching today’s technology decisions. In a small, peer-driven setting, participants will engage in candid discussion focused on real-world challenges, tradeoffs, and priorities shaping technology leadership right now.
What's On the Agenda?
The agenda is driven by participants to ensure the conversation reflects current realities rather than long-term theory. Topics include:
- Defining technology priorities: How are executives deciding where technology investment and leadership attention will have the greatest impact right now?
- Modernization as a long-term strategy: How are leaders approaching system evolution in ways that support the organization’s future rather than short-term fixes?
- Cyber risk as an enterprise issue: How are technology executives shaping conversations around accountability, preparedness, and resilience across the organization?
- Technology’s role in business strategy: How are technology leaders positioning their teams as strategic partners rather than service providers?
- Executive and board alignment: How are technology decisions being framed to support clear governance and informed decision-making at the highest levels?
If there is a specific challenge, question, or situation you would like to bring to the group, you are encouraged to share it in advance so it can be incorporated into the discussion.
Who Should Attend?
This roundtable is intended for credit union executives responsible for technology strategy and oversight. While participation is focused on executive leadership, we recognize that technology teams and titles are structured differently across organizations. If you are unsure whether this roundtable is the right fit, or who from your credit union should attend, please reach out — we’re happy to help identify the most appropriate participant.
To keep the conversation focused and productive, participation is limited to no more than two attendees per credit union.
*Our roundtables are open to those with a subscription that contains roundtable access, and over 200m in assets.
