Callahan Roundtables are regarded as some of the best events in the credit union industry. We hope you can join in 2019.

We know there are a lot of events you can attend throughout the year. But our Roundtables are really like no other. If you register now to join your peers in Washington, DC, you’ll join a network of 15-20 credit union foundation leaders for a day and a half of collaboration, idea sharing, problem-solving, and networking … and you’ll leave the Roundtable with new contacts, actionable ideas, and strategies you can take back and implement at your credit union.

This Roundtable is intended for credit unions that already have a foundation or community give back program in place.

Callahan Roundtables are attendee-driven, and the “agenda” is 100% relevant to the attendees in the room, meaning each Callahan Roundtable is different. That’s why we can’t share an exact list of discussion topics, but we can share what we heard from foundation leaders across 2018.

Who Should Attend?

This Roundtable is for exclusively for credit unions who have purchased a subscription that includes access to our Roundtables and are greater than $200M in assets. There is no registration fee to join us if you meet that criteria.

This roundtable is intended for the leader of your credit union foundation, or individual in charge of starting the foundation (if one is not in place)  at your credit union. But, we know each credit union is unique. Titles are different and due to varying roles and responsibilities it might make more sense for someone else to attend. If you are unsure who should attend from your credit union, contact us.

Due to the popularity of these events, we ask that you only register one person from your credit union.

If you have questions about your eligibility or our waitlist, please contact [email protected].

What Are Foundation Leaders Talking About?

  • How does your credit union incorporate foundation with all-staff days of service?
  • How do you recruit team members to volunteer and what strategies do you use to track volunteerism for CRA reporting?
  • How does your organization balance foundation vs. credit union press and awareness?
  • What are your best practices for driving donations (marketing tactics, events, planned giving, major gifts, other creative solutions, etc.)?
  • Is your foundation solely funded through the credit union or do you look for outside sources?
  • How do you address requesting funds from large endowments?
  • How does your credit union determine allocations for your funds (needs, region, relationship, mission, etc.)?
